The Asteroids Galaxy Tour
10 June 2009 – The Asteroids Galaxy Tour is currently supporting the Hello Katy Tour and I had a LOT of fun shooting with them.
The duo project involves Mette Lindberg and Lars Iversen from Denmark and they performed with their touring band that really all work well together. I found them quirky, different, weird, interesting and all round enjoyable. Shepherds Bush Empire is officially my favourite live venue to shoot at thanks to the amazing lighting, sound, low stage and organized management / security combination. I really had a good time shooting this and I am very happy with the results. I am posting quite a few because I like the way that they came out and I really battled to narrow down the selection as I wanted to give you a taste of Mette’s live personality.
If you haven’t heard of them before, give them a listen. I have a feeling that they are going to be real big quite soon.

I am in love with The Asteroids Galaxy Tour, I’m seeing them in Tivoli in April and I’ve never been more excited. I love Mette and her style :)
Another skinny Euro girl with a strange, but curious vocal range. I hope she isn’t into too much booze and drugs. Can’t quite decide if I like Mette singing or just like to see how strange she can get on stage. Keep playing.. Denmark is a super cool place with some very insightful people… Aloha…
